LaSalle County (WEEK) -- Another person in LaSalle County has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus.
A man in his 40's is the seventh case in the county.
The Health Department says he is in the hospital in isolation.
LaSalle County Health Department adds that they are working to identify and investigate all individuals who were in contact with the man.
LCHD adds that they expect to see even more cases of COVID-19 in their area, and residents should assume that they have been exposed to the virus.
Like the rest of the state, LCHD says they do not have enough tests for everyone.
The Illinois Department of Public Health says they only have enough to test the people who are the most high-risk.
Because so many cases are mild and don't require medical attention, LCHD says the case numbers they do have don't reflect the percentage of the population that actually has COVID-19.
As of Saturday, there are 10,357 cases of COVID-19 in Illinois and 243 deaths, with 91 cases and three deaths across 12 counties in our viewing area.
