Larimer County reports just 1 new COVID-19 case Thursday - Loveland Reporter-Herald

For the second day in a row, Larimer County reported just one new confirmed coronavirus case.

The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment maintains a list of the people who have tested positive for the coronavirus or are considered probable cases. That list, on Thursday, was at 626 cases since March 9 with the addition of a 48-year-old Fort Collins woman who tested positive for the virus.

The tally grew by one case Wednesday and again by one case Thursday. The other days with just one new case were March 9, 15 and 18 and June 1 and 4. The day with the most positive cases was April 29, with 25 new cases.

The 626 cases include confirmed cases and 37 that are considered probable because they had symptoms and were linked in some way to a known case.

The Health Department also is breaking out “suspect” cases, which are people who tested positive via an antibody test but who never had symptoms and are no longer at risk of spreading the virus. That is at 191 cases, up 10 from Wednesday.

The number of deaths linked to the coronavirus in Larimer County remains unchanged at 28.
