Face masks are a normal part of day-to-day life, and we’ve covered face masks designed specifically for comfort, as well as ones charmingly licensed with Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Iron Man and Yoda. Now Adidas has joined the fray.
As you might expect from the famous activewear brand, Adidas face masks are sleek, minimalist, and designed for exercise or, as they put it, “practicing healthy habits every day.” These are not medical grade masks, but will help prevent the spread of viruses and germs through droplet transmission. Adidas masks should be breathable compared to thicker fabrics, as they're made of 93% recycled polyester and 7% elastane. Plus, $2 from each pack sold will go to the Save the Children’s Global Coronavirus Response Fund.
These masks come in 3-packs for $16, and two styles: "Lifestyle" and "training," though the website doesn't make it clear what the difference is or why you would choose one over the other, despite the implication that "training" would have enhanced breathability -- or something. The masks also come in two colors: black and blue, both with the “adidas” logo prominently displayed on the left cheek.
