Larimer County added two more COVID-19 cases to its tally Saturday, for a total of 630, although neither of the new cases actually was reported Saturday.
One of the new coronavirus cases was in a 65-year-old Loveland woman, which was reported Friday but didn’t show up on the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment’s website until Saturday night.
The other new case was in a 22-year-old Loveland man whose case was reported June 4 but which didn’t appear on the online tally at larimer.org/health until Saturday.
Previously, just one case was reported Friday, a 40-year-old Loveland man, and the new case brings Friday’s number of new cases to two.
Both of the new cases were confirmed by testing. The 630 total includes both confirmed cases and cases that are considered probable because the people had symptoms and were linked to confirmed cases but hadn’t tested positive for the active virus.
The number of suspect cases in the county remains at 200, meaning those people tested positive with an antibody test but didn’t have COVID-19 symptoms. They aren’t included in the 630 tally.
Fort Collins has had 52% of the cases, and Loveland accounts for 36%.
The number of deaths of Larimer County residents attributed to COVID-19 remains at 27, according to the website.
