Friday's updated COVID 19 case numbers in Minnesota - WDIO

The Minnesota Department of Health said that 594 more people have tested positive, bringing the total to 5,730.

369 people are in the hospital, with 118 of them in the ICU.

There were also 28 more deaths, bringing the total to 371

You may remember that testing expanded on Thursday last week, to include anyone with symptoms.

30 staff at Moose Lake Prison have been confirmed positive. 33 inmates have been confirmed positive, with 31 presumed positive.

Aitkin County, MN: 1 case
Beltrami County, MN: 6 cases
Carlton County, MN: 59 cases 
Cass County, MN: 5 cases
Crow Wing, MN: 21 cases (1 fatal)
Itasca County, MN: 11 (per county as of Friday morning)
Koochiching County, MN: 1 case
Pine County, MN: 58 cases
St. Louis County, MN: 73 cases (11 fatal) 

The Department of Health will be providing an update at 2pm.
