Soft Swerve Creamery can be found in the corner of the cafe space. There you’ll find the machine and topping bar.
The soft serve is made with a mix from Oatl-y Soft Serve that is oat milk based.
Like many soft serve spots, you can grab a cup or a gluten-free cone. From there, you dispense either chocolate, vanilla or twist, then top your ice cream with an assortment of different items like sprinkles, gluten-free pretzels, chocolate chips and four different drizzle offerings. After that, the employees will weigh your cup/cone. It’s 75-cents per ounce, which isn’t a bad price at all. Ours was roughly $7 and change for two cups.
I brought my daughter, who is a huge sprinkles fan, so this was up her alley.
We tried the vanilla and chocolate ice cream and we really couldn’t tell the difference. It was still very creamy and flavorful. Well, my daughter essentially ate all the sprinkles, so I focused on the ice cream. I’ve had my fair share of vegan and lactose-free ice cream, and this was by far some of the best.
The more I think about it, I’m not even sure there’s any self serve ice cream spots in west Wichita, so this is definitely worth a visit.
