Throckmorton says, “Who doesn’t like a cat with big cheeks? I came through a local open admissions organization, and while there is no history available, I probably didn’t have the easiest life. Nevertheless, I enjoy attention, being petted, sweet talks, and just the fact that I can now enjoy a nice comfy bed, sleep deeply, and always have food available. If you are looking for a gentle big guy, then I think we need to meet soon. I’m enjoying life in a temporary foster home and would love to get a last name.
Throckmorton is about 6 years old, neutered, up-to-date on routine shots (including rabies), tested negative for feline leukemia and heartworm and microchipped.
Save-A-Pet is closed to the public; however, it does a few adoptions by appointment only. You can download an application at saveapetil.org/adopt, complete it, take a picture of it and email it to adoptions@saveapetil.org. They will then give you a call to start the process. Please be patient, as staff is limited. As the stay-at-home order has been extended, donations continue to be much needed.
