The Indiana Area School District is reporting another positive covid-19 infection, this time in a high school student. However, this particular student is a one-hundred percent remote learner, is not currently involved in any extracurricular activities, and does not attend ICTC, so the case does not apply to the district’s 14-day rolling count.
All of Indiana Area’s six schools remain open, with one active covid case at Eisenhower Elementary school and three active cases at the Junior High. Two of the active cases at the Junior High will be removed from the 14-day clock today and the other on Friday. The case at Eisenhower is expected to be removed next Tuesday.
Indiana Area is the only Indiana County district reporting any new covid-19 cases today.
